Ruffolaia
Varietal Merlot from a 0,6ha vineyard planted in 1996, with a production of 2000 bottles per year.
This wine is sought by German, Swiss and Japanese sellers. We selected a barrique which gave us 216 bottles.
Color: intense ruby red.
Aroma: strong notes of strawberry, blueberry and marasca cherry. The 18 months ageing in barrique make this wine structured and suitable for further bottle ageing (ten years or more).
Taste: structured and well-balanced, clear hints of red fruits and long aftertaste.
Food pairings: red meats, wild game, roasted duck, partridge and pheasants.
